It has been some time since I last wrote about my work on „Ralin – Dwarf wars“. This is partially, because I haven’t written that much stuff that is definitely going to end up in the game yet. A lot of the plot and overall story is still in discussion and is thus not really complete yet. Since it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to write about things that are not definite yet, I just didn’t write about it.

I’m a feminist. For several years now, I have been able to say that about myself with a great amount of certainty. Being able to say something with absolute certainty happens rarely enough, but as with every statement, there are certain problems associated with it. One of these problems is often overlooked by myself, but thankfully, I am reminded of it quite often:

Die ganze Diskussion rund um Amazon hat mich dazu veranlasst ein wenig umzudenken. War ich zunächst noch ein großer Fan der Firma, muss ich zugeben, dass deren Art, Geschäfte zu machen immer problematischer wird. Nun kann ich als Selfpublishing-Autor relativ wenig ausrichten und ich werde auch nicht hingehen und irgendwelche Briefe unterschreiben. Ich werde aber zumindest alle direkten Links zu meinem Buch bei Amazon entfernen. Wird das denen viel ausmachen? Wohl kaum, aber gelegentlich kommt es dann doch auf eine symbolische Geste an. Wer nach anderen Shops sucht, um mein Buch zu kaufen, kann das gerne hier tun.
